Mulberry was never really my bag (excuse the pun), but since new creative director Johnny Coca came on board just over a year ago, it's new look has grabbed my attention. The brand now feels edgy and cool whilst retaining that all important British heritage. Here's some of my picks from the new collection.
Despite my love of christmas and the accompanying conviviality, I'm not one for glitzy ensembles. So here's my perfect outfit for a festive night out and my entry to the Farfetch Style the Holiday Season competition.
Really happy to have discovered the Zurich based designer Claudia Bertini a few months ago. Her ever growing collection of 'timeless clothes with a subtle blend of classic and contemporary appearance' are the kind of pieces I would happily cram my wardrobe full with. And the good news is that her online shop launched last week so now available worldwide! Check it out for yourself here. Happy shopping... --- FOLLOW ---
One word. OBSESSED. It's rare that I'm distracted from my well known loyalty to a COS but this new kid on the block has successfully diverted my attention! Not only has the debut collection delivered everything (and more) I'm after for Spring 15, but it offers it all at what looks like fantastic quality and a really palatable price point. Not to mention from a professional point of view the branding, website and art direction are spot on. Thank you Finery!
What I need is a faux fur jacket. And preferably in a blue or green hue. How is it I've survived this long without one? It's a fashion mystery. And now all I can think about... I completely missed the boat on this & Other Stories beaut and the Zara midnight blue version.
I don't know where that eyeball one pictured above is from- anyone know? I would love to cover up in that bad boy.
So pleased to have just discovered Little Liffner. A brand dedicated to creating beautiful bags, handmade in Italy. And without the enormous price tag that seems to be so commonplace right now. Having had a good window shop on their website, my pick from the Fall Winter collection is this beauty - 'Wildcat'. Made from calf's leather and black Italian shearling, it's the perfect bag to accompany me through the colder months. It even has a detachable shoulder strap allowing it to double up as a clutch for the evening. It's not just this particular style that boasts such versatility. Little Liffner is a modular concept with optional add-ons which enable you to update and personalise your bag over time. Take a look at more of the gorgeous styles here. Which one is your favourite?
Since clocking this gorgeous collection of pyjamas and pillowcases by new label After Party, my sleepwear standards have been raised. Historically preferring a classic cotton combo when it comes to pj's, I'm now decidedly hooked on acquiring a silk set. Classic styles in luxurious silk, adorned with modern abstract patterns, these pieces are sure to up the style stakes in any boudoir, but why leave it there? With the pyjama trend still lingering, I'd happy team with heels and a clutch for a girls night out. The collection launches this autumn and will be available on the After Party website along with a curated mix of homeware pieces.
