Party time

Friday, 20 November 2015

Despite my love of christmas and the accompanying conviviality, I'm not one for glitzy ensembles. So here's my perfect outfit for a festive night out and my entry to the Farfetch Style the Holiday Season competition.

Ribbed turtleneck: Joseph
'Marlene' trousers: MSGM
'Clarita' sandals: Alexandre Birman

Summer days

Thursday, 18 June 2015

At last the sun has decided to make an extended appearance and we can safely say that summer is here.

I'm really pleased to finally be wearing some of the spring summer pieces I bought back in April, and enjoying having my hands free now that I've got this beautiful Loxley England rucksack to put all my things in. I've been wanting a rucksack for a while but couldn't decide on one until this beaut caught my eye. It's made from a lovely glossy full grain leather, lined with Liberty print fabric and it's the perfect size to take to work with me.

Also loving these Laurence Dolige leather slides which, after a traumatic start (had to break these bad boys in) are now my go to sandal.

WATG // Part 2

Tuesday, 19 May 2015

Next up these Wool & The Gang accessories. So lush! I wanted to keep them all. And apparently really easy to make. Have you heard about the WATG knitting parties? Both the chokers and clutch are the perfect beginner pieces to try out if you're new to knitting or a bit rusty (like me). More info here.

#MVStyleSeekers

Thursday, 16 April 2015

I recently spent a fab day with Mint Velvet and fellow bloggers Alex Stedman of The Frugality, Freddie of igobyfrankie and Anneli of WhatIBoughtToday at the #MVStyleSeekers photoshoot.

After the long wait for spring to arrive it was a pleasure riffling through the Mint Velvet SS15 collections, picking out our favourite pieces for the shoot. As you can see from the shots above, mine included some great everyday items that I felt right at home in.

Head over to the Mint Velvet blog to see Alex, Frankie and Anneli's picks, as well as an interview with me and more from behind the scenes.

My #MVStyleSeekers picks:
Khaki Relaxed Shirt
Baltimore Boyfriend Jeans
Leopard Zola Sandals

The white shirt

Friday, 6 February 2015

There a some non negotiables when it comes to wardrobe staples. One is the white shirt. And to be honest, there are so many different styles out there you shouldn't just stop at one.

This style I'm wearing for my #ARWOMAN shoot with Atterley Road is from their own label. It has a really lovely a-line shape to it and pairs beautifully with a nice pair of slacks (FYI - love that word).

See the interview and more shots from the day here.
