The new Mulberry

Sunday, 17 July 2016

Mulberry was never really my bag (excuse the pun), but since new creative director Johnny Coca came on board just over a year ago, it's new look has grabbed my attention. The brand now feels edgy and cool whilst retaining that all important British heritage.

Here's some of my picks from the new collection.

Burgandy Camden bag
Black Camera bag
Black Maple tote bag

Show some shoulder

Thursday, 30 June 2016

As much as I love the off the shoulder trend, it seemed for a while that I wouldn't be able to join in the fun. The reason for this is because my body moves. Not usually a problem, but as the majority of styles in stores have an elasticated neckline, just the slightest arm movement can cause an off the shoulder malfunction, resulting in me having to constantly pull the sleeves back down, or staying very still while wearing it (impossible for me).

Then this little beauty caught my eye. Stylish and practical, with not an elasticated shoulder in sight, just four adorable ties and in this seasons blue and white stripes (two trends in one!).

Kaftan cover up

Saturday, 18 June 2016

In preparation for a week away in Ibiza this month, I've been consumed with finding the perfect beach kaftan. As much as I'd love to sway about in Rodebjer or Lisa Marie Fernandez, sadly the budget would not allow. Fortunately H&M trend has an affordable alternative, and while it isn't as colourful as the designer versions I've lusted after, this black oversized dress not only works for the beach, but doubles up as a chic evening outfit teamed with big earrings and clutch bag. Thankyou once again H&M trend, for delivering stylish pieces that don't break the bank.

Agneel

Thursday, 2 June 2016

So pleased to have discovered Agneel. A Berlin based label who have created a beautiful range of clean, minimal style bags made with quality leathers and suede.

I opted for the AKRA shopper, which is the perfect size for everyday use. It even has a useful little zip pouch attached for those smaller items that always get lost at the bottom of a bag.

Head to their website to see the full collection. I've already got my eye on the ANE clutch and UMA cross body bag...
