Doubling up

I feel a bit too done up if I go out wearing something bought specifically for the evening. That's why most of my wardrobe doubles up from day to night by adding heels or a piece of statement jewellery. This sweater, jeans and heels combo is the perfect example...

Practical

I've been after a pair like these for a while after concluding that the towering heels in my wardrobe will sadly continue to gather dust. This is due the (possibly) irrational fear that I will not reach my destination without limping should I choose to wear them out. So my quest for a pair of courts with a practical heel height began. I was pleased to find that Topshop had an affordable pair and in a gorgeously soft suede. They'll be great with pretty much any outfit, but I'm particularly looking forward to wearing them through these colder months with some sheer socks and jeans.
