Easy breezy

Sunday, 12 July 2015

While I wouldn't say I'm a frequent wearer of dresses, this summer I've been inspired. On a recent visit to Spring restaurant (which I would highly recommend) I witnessed a coterie of waitresses who calmly worked the room in coloured sack-like dresses (designed by Egg of Knightsbridge) teamed with white plimsoles.

COS was obviously the first port of call on my search for a dress which fit the minimal, colour, cotton criteria. Having said that, it's my first port of call on most shopping missions. While there I picked up these gold disc earrings which haven't left my lobes since.

I could get used to this

Thursday, 9 July 2015

On a recent outfit shoot with photographer Lauren Maccabee, I was lucky enough to have hairstylist Paul Donovan on hand! He was visiting Brighton on proper paid business with my friend David Downton, but I was able to pinch him for an hour to keep my hair looking fresh between shots. I could get used to this...

COS Pop up

Wednesday, 8 July 2015

COS recently teamed up with the Austrian based design studio chmara.rosinke, to create their Mobile Pop up Store. The intention behind it was to design a functional object with a strong personality and character but one that works cohesively with the design of the garments on display.

We were lucky enough to have it pop up in Brighton recently. The trolley was parked up on New Street for the weekend displaying some gorgeous and typically minimal pieces, with COS staff giving away a generous 20% off to passers by.

The COS trolley will be going to other locations this summer so watch out for it in a town near you!
