Little Liffner
Thursday 28 August 2014
So pleased to have just discovered Little Liffner. A brand dedicated to creating beautiful bags, handmade in Italy. And without the enormous price tag that seems to be so commonplace right now.
Having had a good window shop on their website, my pick from the Fall Winter collection is this beauty - 'Wildcat'. Made from calf's leather and black Italian shearling, it's the perfect bag to accompany me through the colder months. It even has a detachable shoulder strap allowing it to double up as a clutch for the evening. It's not just this particular style that boasts such versatility. Little Liffner is a modular concept with optional add-ons which enable you to update and personalise your bag over time.

After Party
Tuesday 26 August 2014
Since clocking this gorgeous collection of pyjamas and pillowcases by new label After Party, my sleepwear standards have been raised. Historically preferring a classic cotton combo when it comes to pj's, I'm now decidedly hooked on acquiring a silk set.
Classic styles in luxurious silk, adorned with modern abstract patterns, these pieces are sure to up the style stakes in any boudoir, but why leave it there? With the pyjama trend still lingering, I'd happy team with heels and a clutch for a girls night out.
The collection launches this autumn and will be available on the After Party website along with a curated mix of homeware pieces.

Mulberry at Large
Wednesday 13 August 2014
While Cara Delevinge hosted a Mulberry picnic inside the Walled Garden of Lord and Lady Rotherwick's Cornbury Estate, my job was to hunt out the most fashionable festival goers and style them with one of 6 beautiful red Mulberry bags. As you can see, it wasn't a difficult job. There were plenty of gorgeous ladies wearing some fabulous ensembles, who were more than happy to pose for the camera with their choice of bag.
Between style shots I was able to get stuck into some hands on creativity at the Mulberry Loves Craft tent. Beautifully decorated with gold heart and handbag shaped branded balloons amidst stacked hay bale seating, it was filled with tables equipped with all the tools necessary to create your very own Mulberry leather cuff. You could even personalise by hand stamping your initials or choice of cute little symbols. What a treat!
As for my fear of festivals, I think the Wilderness experience has cured me. The chilled family vibe, friendly atmosphere, and beautiful setting of the Oxfordshire Cotswold countryside was enough to convince me that not every festival has to be a mud soaked catastrophe. Plus the sun made a lengthy appearance which makes all the difference.
