Nude

I don't know about you but at this time of year a smokey eye (or two) is what's called for. In my opinion you need a good nude nail to go with it. My newest favourite is this No7 shade 'So Simple'.

Outfit

Sprained my ankle playing netball around 6 weeks ago and it's still not fully repaired! So haven't been able to wear heels recently :( But these COS sandals have been great for some comfortable height.

Lady Danger

As many will know, I'm a huge red lipstick fan. I've been using two Mac shades for a while now- 'So Chaud' and 'Russian Red'. I felt like I needed a shade in between the two though, so got myself 'Lady Danger'. It's so bright! Proper pillar box red. Well pleased.

Nike Air Max 90

My newest footwear lust. Nike Air Max 90. If I could get my hands on the colourway Amy Bannerman of Elle is wearing I would be so happy, but I have a feeling they're hard to come by. Found the top ones on the US UrbanOutfitters site but I'd rather not get them online. Brighton is lacking anywhere that sells cool trainers in women's sizes. I think a trip to London is in order. Anyone know the best place to try for trainer treasure?

Glowing

Usually by this time of year my skin is suffering from the cold. Not this time though! Amazing Skin Truffle cream by Temple Spa is my new solution for beating the dullness! It's seriously lush. Really rich and luxurious with ingredients like gold, truffles and diamonds! Not to mention it's anti ageing properties which I'm so in need of... It's no surprise this won a Best in Beauty at the Beauty Bible awards. Temple Spa have loads of other fantastic products as well as some amazing spas which I'd love to visit. Might pop that request on my christmas list...

After nearly 10 years of living in Brighton's North Laine, I am still in love with it. The people, the pubs, the independent cafe's, shops and boutiques. It's a special little world away from all the high street chains. I'm a real fan of supporting local business so as you can imagine, I was really excited to hear about a new localised discount card- LoveCard. Grey Concept

H&M's Grey Concept Collection has launched today! Part of the store's Divided line, it includes lots of greys (obviously) and blacks, and is inspired by rock and grunge. Some great staple items for autumn winter. Available at hm.com. The campaign looks great with Alice Dellal, as always looking so cool. Wish I could pull off an undercut!
