As usual, much of my current wishlist contains COS items. Here are just a few that would work together well... The chelsea boots are in stores again this season. I bought them last year and have to say they've been a great investment. Just had them resoled so they feel brand new again!

Coat hunting

The temperature is getting colder and the nights are drawing in... I recently dug out my coat of 2 years, and although I still love it, sadly it's a little rough around the edges. And so the hunt for a new coat is on! It's a tough decision though, choosing something that will work well with every outfit. I have an aversion to bobbling, so whatever style I settle on it has to be great quality but not cost the earth.

Lovely layers

Caroline Issa and Garance Dore looking gorgeous in those rich colours and belted waists. I love the way Garance has layered the shirt under that peplum top. Must try it myself!

Finally

Part of the reason there has been an absence of blog posts recently is that we are having our kitchen, bathroom and living area renovated. Seriously taxing... emotionally and financially! 10 weeks on and we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The decorators are in at the moment and already I'm getting twitchy about my kids and the newly painted walls! Maybe I should get this sign I found on Rocket St George?

Co-ordinate

I have a wedding to go to this month so have been looking at an appropriate outfit that will have life beyond one wear. I think this Topshop co-ord shirt and trousers would be perfect. What do you think?
