Knee length, denim cut off shorts. I reckon they would look great styled with either heels or flats. What do you think of them?

So lovely receiving presents in the post. The same friend that bought me my first Alphabet bag 3 years ago has just got me this new one! Great timing as I was just about to replace it myself. Also pictured here, my new COS sandals which I'm very fond of.

Brighton Fashion Week 2012

Jubilee-ing and school holidays have meant a very delayed Brighton Fashion Week post! 

The week kicked off with Brighton Frocks, a show full of fun, glam fifties, latex and the general craziness that characterises this wonderful city. Day 2 was time for the much anticipated Zeitgeist show which I was personally most excited about attending. Lots of fresh talent, my favourites being the gorgeous simplistic cuts of Lesley de Freitas (image 1&2), the pattern and colour of Isolated Heros (image 3&4) and the fabulous prints on display at Kay Kwok (image 5).  The evening drew to a dramatic close with Jess Eaton's Road Kill Couture (image 6&7) which took everyone's breath away.

All Saints Church in Hove made for a fantastic venue, and the atmosphere on both evenings I attended was great, with none of that pretentious fashion vibe... Brighton Fashion Week is going from strength to strength and a real credit to the city. I'm looking forward to the next one already.
