Bright lippy

Holly Fulton's show at London Fashion Week has inspired me to once again go bright on the lips. Mac lipstick 'Morange' is certainly a colour to wear this spring, but until things warm up, I'll be staying the red side of orange with 'So Chaud'.

Twee

I shouldn't have gone in. I shouldn't have even glanced that way, but that would have been impossible. The window of Tribeca has me sighing with longing every time I pass by. On the odd occasion (usually without the double buggy) I can't pass up the opportunity to nip in and have a good look. All my favourite designers are there- Acne, Isabel Marant, Vanessa Bruno... This time the bait that successfully lured me in was a bag by Jerome Dreyfuss. His designs are beautiful. The 'Twee' pictured here, is the perfect size and made with really soft leather. And way out of my budget, but I can dream... Tribeca, 21 Bond Street, Brighton.

Found this online design shop that sells some lovely stationery, posters and homeware, as well as design books and magazines. Worth a look.

Happy feet

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for some unusual socks and found these ones by Kvast. Love the grey pencil ones.

Donna Wilson

Not only are Donna Wilson's home accessories beautifully quirky, but her knitted creatures are hilarious. I especially like Harry Hairy Head, who "Likes Roller Discos and Cherry Coke". What a legend. You can buy online or locally at Abode.

Clog fever

Ok, so I wouldn't usually pick a clog as the most attractive choice of footwear, but since Chanel's SS10 show, the clog has grown on me. I especially like Swedish Hasbeen's range of heeled clogs. They come in a variety of bright colours, perfect for spring. So glad local boutique Nola will be stocking them soon. I'll be dropping in to try them on.
